How to Activate Your New Webuzo Hosting

Automatic Activation
Your Webuzo hosting account is activated automatically after payment confirmation:
- Payment processed — Our system confirms your payment
- Account provisioned — Your Webuzo hosting environment is set up on the server
- Welcome Email — Login credentials and server details are sent to your email
Activation usually completes within 5-15 minutes.
Tip: Check your spam or junk folder if you do not receive the welcome email within 15 minutes.
Welcome Email Details
Your welcome email contains everything you need:
- Webuzo Panel URL — The URL to access your hosting control panel
- Username — Your Webuzo login username
- Password — Your initial panel password
- Server IP — The IP address of your hosting server
- Nameservers — The nameservers for your domain
- FTP Credentials — For uploading files
Getting Started
Step 1: Point Your Domain
If your domain is not yet pointing to the hosting server:
- Log in to your domain registrar's control panel
- Find the nameserver settings
- Update to the nameservers from your welcome email
- Wait 2-24 hours for DNS propagation
If your domain is registered with {{COMPANY_NAME}}, it may already be pointing correctly.
Step 2: Log In to Webuzo
- Visit {{SUPPORT_URL}} and log in to your client portal
- Go to Services then My Services
- Click on your Webuzo hosting service
- Click Login to Panel for SSO access

Step 3: Install Your First Application
This is where Webuzo shines — installing applications is incredibly easy:
- From the Webuzo dashboard, browse the Application Catalog
- Find your desired application (e.g., WordPress)
- Click on it to see details and requirements
- Click Install
- Fill in the basic settings:
- Domain — Select your domain
- Directory — Leave empty for root installation, or enter a subfolder
- Site Name — Your website title
- Admin Username — Choose an admin username
- Admin Password — Set a strong admin password
- Admin Email — Your email for admin notifications
- Click Install
- Your application will be live within seconds
Step 4: Set Up SSL
Secure your website with a free SSL certificate:
- In Webuzo, navigate to SSL settings
- Select Let's Encrypt
- Choose your domain
- Click Install Certificate
- Enable Force HTTPS to redirect all traffic to the secure version
Step 5: Create Email Accounts
- Go to the Email section in Webuzo
- Click Add Email Account
- Enter the desired username and password
- Set the mailbox quota
- Click Create
Troubleshooting
Account Not Activated
- Verify payment status in Billing then My Invoices
- Wait 15 minutes for provisioning
- Contact {{SUPPORT_EMAIL}} if it exceeds 30 minutes
Application Installation Fails
- Ensure your domain's DNS has propagated
- Check that you have enough disk space and databases available
- Try reinstalling the application
- Check the installation log for specific errors
Website Shows Default Page
- DNS propagation may still be in progress — wait 24 hours
- Ensure the application was installed to the correct domain and directory
- Clear your browser cache and try again
