How to Login to Plesk Panel
Plesk is the control panel for your {{COMPANY_NAME}} Windows hosting account. This guide covers all methods to access your Plesk dashboard.
Method 1: SSO Login from Client Portal (Recommended)
The easiest and most secure method is Single Sign-On (SSO) from your client portal.
Steps
- Log in to your client portal at {{SUPPORT_URL}}
- Navigate to Services then My Services
- Click on your Windows hosting service
- Click the Login to Plesk button
- You will be automatically redirected to your Plesk dashboard
Tip: SSO means you never need to enter a separate Plesk password. Your portal authentication is used to grant access automatically.
Method 2: Direct URL Login
You can access Plesk directly using the URL from your welcome email.
Steps
- Open your browser and go to your Plesk login URL (typically your server hostname or IP on port 8443 using HTTPS)
- Enter your username (from the welcome email)
- Enter your password
- Click Log In
Finding Your Plesk URL
If you have lost your welcome email, you can find your Plesk URL in the client portal:
- Log in at {{SUPPORT_URL}}
- Go to Services then My Services
- Click on your Windows hosting
- The server details section shows your Plesk URL, username, and server IP
Method 3: Via Domain URL
You can also try accessing Plesk through your domain on port 8443 using HTTPS. This only works after DNS has propagated to point to your hosting server.
Troubleshooting
SSO Login Fails
- Verify your hosting service is Active in the portal
- Clear your browser cache and cookies
- Disable browser extensions that might block redirects
- Try a different browser
Direct Login Returns Invalid Credentials
- Ensure you are using your Plesk credentials, not your portal credentials
- Check that the username is entered exactly as shown in the welcome email
- Reset your password via the client portal
Connection Timed Out
- Verify you are using HTTPS and port 8443
- Check if your ISP or network blocks port 8443
- Try using a VPN or mobile data connection to test
Account Suspended
- Log in to your client portal
- Check Billing then My Invoices for unpaid invoices
- Pay outstanding invoices
- Your account will be reactivated automatically
After Logging In
Once logged in to Plesk, you can:
- Manage websites and domains
- Create email accounts
- Deploy applications
- View statistics and logs
- Manage databases (MSSQL and MySQL)
- Install SSL certificates
Security Recommendations
- Use SSO whenever possible for stronger security
- If using direct login, choose a strong, unique password
- Enable Two-Factor Authentication in Plesk settings
- Always use HTTPS (port 8443) — never HTTP
- Log out when finished using Plesk
