Meta tags provide information about your web page to search engines and social media platforms. They significantly impact how your site appears in search results and social shares.
Understanding Meta Tags
- Meta Title — Clickable headline in search results, browser tab text. Max 60 characters, unique per page.
- Meta Description — Summary below title in search results. Max 160 characters, unique per page.
- Open Graph tags — Control appearance when shared on Facebook/LinkedIn (og:title, og:description, og:image)
- Twitter Card tags — Control appearance on Twitter/X

In Site Settings > SEO, set default values used when pages lack custom tags.
