Installing Other Applications via Webuzo Softaculous
Webuzo with Softaculous supports hundreds of applications beyond WordPress.

How to Install Any Application
Step 1: Find It
Open Softaculous, browse categories or search.
Step 2: Review Requirements
Check PHP version, required extensions, disk space, and database needs.
Step 3: Configure
Click Install and fill in: protocol (https), domain, directory, database name, admin credentials, language, and app-specific settings.
Step 4: Install
Click Install. Completion takes 30 seconds to 5 minutes.
Managing Installed Applications
View: Softaculous > Installations — lists all apps with versions, URLs, dates.
Update: Click Update next to apps with available updates. Always back up first. Enable auto-updates for minor/security versions.
Backup: Click backup icon, choose files/database/both, download for safekeeping.
Remove: Click trash icon, choose whether to remove database, confirm.
Multiple Applications
Install in different directories:
yourdomain.com/ -- WordPress
yourdomain.com/shop/ -- PrestaShop
yourdomain.com/forum/ -- phpBBEach gets its own database. Monitor resource limits.
Troubleshooting
- Installation failed — Check disk space, database creation, PHP version
- Blank page — Enable error display, check application error log
- Running slowly — Check resources, optimize database, enable caching
- Permission errors — Files 644, directories 755
