How to Publish Your Website
Publishing makes your website live and accessible to the world.
Pre-Publication Checklist
- Content is complete (no placeholder text)
- Images replaced with your own
- All links and buttons work
- Contact information is correct
- Forms submit correctly
- Mobile view looks good
- SEO settings configured
- Domain connected
- Privacy Policy page exists
- Spelling and grammar checked
How to Publish
- Click the Publish button (top-right corner)
- If no domain connected, choose: custom domain or temporary subdomain
- Click Publish to confirm
- Site builds and deploys in 1-3 minutes
What Happens Behind the Scenes
Pages compile into optimized HTML/CSS/JS, images are compressed, SSL activates, site deploys to {{COMPANY_NAME}}'s infrastructure.
After Publishing
Verify
Open incognito browser, visit your domain, check every page, test mobile, submit a test form, confirm HTTPS padlock.
Submit to Google
Add your site to Google Search Console, verify ownership, submit your sitemap (yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml).
Set Up Analytics
Create a Google Analytics account, get your Measurement ID, add it in Settings > Analytics, republish.
Share
Update social profiles, add to email signature, submit to Google My Business.
Publishing Updates
Edit in builder, preview, click Publish. Changes live in 1-3 minutes. Hard-refresh browser to see updates. Changes are NOT live until you click Publish.
Common Issues
- Site not loading — Wait 5 minutes, check DNS, clear cache
- Old version showing — Clear cache, try incognito, wait 10-15 minutes
- SSL not working — Verify DNS records, wait 30 minutes, contact support after 24 hours
