Who Can Register?

NIXI Rules and Policies
Registration Period

Domain Dispute Resolution

Domain Lifecycle

- Expiry: Domain expires if not renewed

eKYC Requirement

DNS and Nameserver Setup
After registration, configure your nameservers:
- Go to Domains > My Domains > click your .in domain
- Select the Nameservers tab
- Either use {{COMPANY_NAME}}s default nameservers or enter custom ones
- Click Save Changes
Tip: If you are using {{COMPANY_NAME}} hosting, select the default nameservers for automatic DNS configuration.
Troubleshooting
- Domain not resolving after registration: DNS propagation can take up to 48 hours. Verify nameservers are correctly set.
- Registration rejected: Ensure all contact details are valid. For .ind.in, verify you meet the Indian individual requirement.
- eKYC pending: Complete the identity verification process from your portal to activate the domain.
- Cannot transfer .in domain: Ensure the domain is at least 60 days old and not in locked status.
