Renewal Timeline
| Time | What Happens |
|---|---|
| 30 days before expiry | Renewal invoice generated and emailed |
| 14 days before | Reminder email sent |
| 7 days before | Final reminder |
| Expiry date | Domain enters grace period |

| 60+ days after expiry | Domain is released and available for anyone to register |
Warning: Once a domain is released, anyone can register it. There is no guarantee you can get it back.

- Go to Invoices
- Find the domain renewal invoice (status: Unpaid)
- Click Pay Now
- Complete payment via Razorpay
Method 2: Manual Renewal from Domains Page
- Go to Domains
- Click on the domain

Auto-Renewal
Enable auto-renewal to avoid accidental expiry:
- Go to Domains > click your domain
- Toggle Auto-Renewal to On
- When auto-renewal triggers, an invoice is generated and you receive an email to pay
Tip: Auto-renewal generates the invoice automatically but still requires manual payment via the payment gateway. Set calendar reminders as a backup.
Multi-Year Renewal
Save time by renewing for multiple years:
- Most domains can be renewed for up to 10 years
- Longer renewal periods lock in current pricing
- Reduces the risk of accidental expiry
What Happens When a Domain Expires
Grace Period (0-30 Days)
- Your website and email stop working
- The domain can still be renewed at the regular price
- No data is lost — services resume after renewal
Redemption Period (30-60 Days)
- The domain can be restored but at a significantly higher fee
- Restoration fees vary by TLD (typically 5-10x the registration price)
- Contact support to initiate domain redemption
Released (60+ Days)
- The domain is deleted from the registry

- This is irreversible
