Setting Up Email Accounts
Create professional email addresses using your domain name.
Creating an Email Account
- Log into cPanel
- Go to Email → Email Accounts
- Click "Create" button
- Enter:
- Username (e.g., info, support, contact)
- Password (use a strong password)
- Storage quota
Accessing Your Email
Webmail
Access email from any browser:
- Go to yourdomain.com/webmail
- Or use webmail.yourdomain.com
- Choose Roundcube, Horde, or SquirrelMail
Email Client Setup
Configure Outlook, Thunderbird, or mobile apps:
Incoming (IMAP):
- Server: mail.yourdomain.com
- Port: 993 (SSL) or 143 (TLS)
Incoming (POP3):
- Server: mail.yourdomain.com
- Port: 995 (SSL) or 110
Outgoing (SMTP):
- Server: mail.yourdomain.com
- Port: 465 (SSL) or 587 (TLS)
Best Practices
- Use IMAP to sync across devices
- Enable SSL/TLS for security
- Set up SPF and DKIM records for deliverability
- Regularly check spam folder settings
