How to Login to cPanel (SSO from Portal)
The fastest and most secure way to access your cPanel hosting control panel is through Single Sign-On (SSO) from your {{COMPANY_NAME}} client portal. This method requires no separate username or password — you're logged in automatically.
Method 1: SSO Login (Recommended)
Single Sign-On lets you access cPanel directly from your client portal with one click.
Steps
- Visit {{SUPPORT_URL}} and log in to your client portal
- Navigate to Services then My Services
- Click on your active cPanel hosting service
- On the service details page, click the Login to cPanel button
- You'll be automatically redirected to your cPanel dashboard — no additional credentials needed
Tip: The SSO session is valid as long as your portal session is active. If the SSO link expires, simply log in to the portal again and repeat the process.
Advantages of SSO Login
- No need to remember a separate cPanel password
- More secure — no credentials transmitted
- Works even if you've forgotten your cPanel password
- Session is tied to your authenticated portal account
Method 2: Direct URL Login
If you prefer to log in directly to cPanel without going through the portal, you can use the direct URL method.
Finding Your cPanel Login URL
Your cPanel URL follows one of these formats:
- yourdomain.com on port 2083 (using your domain with HTTPS)
- The server hostname on port 2083 (using the server hostname)
The exact URL and your cPanel username are included in your Welcome Email, sent when your hosting was activated.
Steps
- Open your browser and navigate to your cPanel URL
- Enter your cPanel username (from your welcome email)
- Enter your cPanel password
- Click Log In
Troubleshooting Login Issues
SSO Button Not Appearing
- Ensure your hosting service is Active (not Suspended or Pending)
- Check that you're viewing the correct service in the portal
- Try clearing your browser cache and logging in again
Invalid Login on Direct URL
- Double-check your username — it is case-sensitive
- Reset your password via the portal (see related articles below)
- Ensure you're using port 2083 (HTTPS), not 2082
Account Suspended
If you see a suspension notice:
- Log in to your client portal
- Check for any unpaid invoices under Billing then My Invoices
- Pay any outstanding invoices
- Your account will be automatically unsuspended within a few minutes

Browser Compatibility
cPanel works best with modern browsers. Ensure you're using a recent version of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, or Safari.
Security Recommendations
- Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) in cPanel under Security then Two-Factor Authentication
- Always use HTTPS (port 2083) for cPanel access
- Avoid logging in from public or shared computers
- Log out of cPanel when you're done — don't just close the browser
