How to View and Manage Your Hosting
Your {{COMPANY_NAME}} hosting services can be fully managed from the Client Portal. This guide shows you how to view your hosting details, log in to your control panel, and monitor resource usage.
Accessing Your Hosting Services
- Log in at {{SUPPORT_URL}}/client
- Click Services in the main navigation menu
- Your hosting plans will be listed along with other services
- Click on a hosting service to open its management page
Hosting Service Details
The hosting detail page displays:
General Information
- Plan Name — The hosting plan you are subscribed to (e.g., Starter, Business, Pro)
- Domain — The primary domain associated with the hosting account
- Status — Active, Suspended, or Pending
- Server — The server name where your account is hosted
- IP Address — The shared or dedicated IP assigned to your account
- Billing Cycle — Monthly, annually, biennially, etc.
- Next Due Date — When your next renewal payment is due
Control Panel Access (SSO Login)
You can log in to your hosting control panel (cPanel or DirectAdmin) directly from the Client Portal without needing a separate password:
- Go to the hosting service detail page
- Click the Login to Panel or SSO button
- You will be automatically logged in to your control panel in a new tab
Tip: If SSO login fails, try clearing your browser cookies or using an incognito window. If the issue persists, contact support.
Resource Usage
Your hosting detail page may show current resource usage:
- Disk Space — How much storage you are using vs. your plan limit
- Bandwidth — Monthly data transfer used
- Email Accounts — Number of email accounts created
- Databases — Number of MySQL/MariaDB databases in use
- Addon Domains — Additional domains hosted on the account
Common Hosting Management Tasks
Accessing File Manager
- Log in to your control panel via SSO
- Navigate to File Manager
- Your website files are in the public_html directory
Creating Email Accounts
- Log in to your control panel via SSO
- Go to Email Accounts
- Click Create and enter the desired email address and password
- Configure your email client using the settings provided
Managing Databases
- Log in to your control panel via SSO
- Go to MySQL Databases or Database Manager
- Create databases and database users as needed
- Use phpMyAdmin for direct database management
Installing Applications
Most hosting plans include a one-click application installer:
- Log in to your control panel via SSO
- Look for Softaculous or Application Installer
- Browse available applications (WordPress, Joomla, etc.)
- Click Install and follow the prompts
SSH and Developer Tools
All {{COMPANY_NAME}} shared hosting plans include:
- SSH Access — Connect via terminal for command-line management
- Node.js — Available via CloudLinux Node.js Selector
- Python — Available via CloudLinux Python Selector
- Git — Pre-installed for version control
Tip: You do not need a VPS for SSH, Node.js, or Python. These features are available on all shared hosting plans through CloudLinux.
Troubleshooting
- SSO login not working? Clear browser cache and cookies. Try a different browser. If still failing, contact support.
- Website showing error after upload? Check file permissions (files: 644, directories: 755) and ensure your files are in the correct directory (public_html).
- Resource limit reached? Consider upgrading your plan. Contact support for assistance with plan upgrades.
- Cannot send emails? Verify your MX records are correctly configured and check if your email account password is correct.
