How to Order a Hosting Plan
A hosting plan provides the server space and resources needed to make your website accessible on the internet. This guide walks you through selecting and ordering the right hosting plan from {{COMPANY_NAME}}.
Step 1: Browse Available Plans
- Log in to your Client Portal at {{SUPPORT_URL}}/client
- Click Order New Service or navigate to the hosting plans page
- You will see available hosting categories:
- Shared Hosting — Best for personal websites, blogs, and small businesses
- Reseller Hosting — For web designers and agencies managing multiple clients
- VPS Hosting — For applications needing dedicated resources
Step 2: Select a Plan
Compare the available plans based on:
- Disk Space — Storage for your website files, emails, and databases
- Bandwidth — Monthly data transfer allowance
- Websites/Domains — Number of websites you can host on the plan
- Email Accounts — How many email addresses you can create
- Databases — Number of MySQL databases allowed
- Key Features — SSH access, Node.js, Python, free SSL, daily backups
Click Order Now on the plan that best fits your needs.
Tip: Not sure which plan to choose? Start with the smallest plan that meets your requirements. You can always upgrade later without any downtime.
Step 3: Choose Your Billing Cycle
Select how often you want to be billed:
- Monthly — Lowest commitment, highest per-month price
- Quarterly — Small discount over monthly
- Semi-Annually — Moderate discount
- Annually — Best value, typically 15-30% savings
- Biennially (2 years) — Maximum savings where available
Tip: Annual and biennial billing cycles offer the best value. Choose a longer cycle if you are confident about your hosting needs.
Step 4: Associate a Domain
You will be asked to associate a domain with your hosting plan:
- I already have a domain — Enter your existing domain name
- Register a new domain — Search and register a domain during checkout
- Use a subdomain — If you do not have a domain yet (limited availability)
If you register a new domain, it will be added to your cart alongside the hosting plan.
Step 5: Review Add-Ons
Depending on the plan, you may be offered optional add-ons:
- Dedicated IP Address — A unique IP for your hosting account
- SSL Certificate — For sites needing extended validation (basic SSL is usually free)
- Extra Backup Storage — Additional backup retention
Step 6: Proceed to Checkout
- Review your cart — verify the plan, billing cycle, and domain
- Apply a coupon code if available
- Confirm your contact details
- Select your preferred payment method
- Complete the payment
After Your Order
- Your hosting account will be provisioned automatically within 1-5 minutes
- You will receive a welcome email with:
- Control panel login URL
- Server IP address and nameservers
- FTP credentials
- If you ordered a domain with hosting, nameservers will be configured automatically
- Log in to your control panel via SSO from the Client Portal
Troubleshooting
- Hosting still Pending after payment? Most accounts are set up within 5 minutes. If it has been longer than 30 minutes, contact support.
- Cannot access control panel? Try the SSO login from the Client Portal instead of direct login.
- Website not loading on new hosting? Ensure your domain's nameservers point to your {{COMPANY_NAME}} hosting nameservers. DNS propagation can take up to 48 hours.
